Instagram Reel Text Safe Zone
The reel safe zone is the middle of the frame. Keep titles out of the bottom buttons and the right-hand rail.

The Instagram reel text safe zone is the part of the 9:16 frame that stays visible after the app adds the like button, the caption, the audio name, and your profile chip. Put titles in the upper-middle. Leave the bottom fifth and the right edge empty of words.
Preview inside the app
An editor preview is not the feed. Upload a private draft or watch a similar reel and notice where your thumb and the buttons sit. A line that is centred in a design file is often low in the feed.
One block of type
A title plus a subtitle plus a URL is three chances to hit a button. Use one block. The URL belongs in the caption, where it can be tapped on purpose.
Faces and labels stay clear too
The safe zone is not only for your title. A product label that sits in the bottom fifth is unreadable at the moment you need it. Lift the product, or crop tighter.
A worked example
A 9:16 explainer. The title sits one-third down from the top. The diagram occupies the middle. The bottom band is only background. The caption holds the link.
Before you post
- Title is in the upper-middle.
- No URL is burned into the bottom.
- The product label is not under the caption bar.
Where Scro fits
Scro's opening title is meant to be read in that first screen. Approve the still and check that the words sit above the button band before you render motion.
Place the title in the safe area. Finished samples are on the examples page.
