Paper-Cutout Explainer Video
A paper-cutout explainer sticks cut-out pieces on one board. Keep the same board in every clip so it feels like one film.

A paper-cutout explainer video teaches with cut-out people and objects on a single craft board. The edges look snipped. The board stays put. It suits a concept that should feel made by hand, and it is a different choice from a whiteboard doodle. Do not mix the two in one reel.
One board
Every clip shares the same wooden board. A jump to a kitchen or a white void breaks the toy-theatre feeling. The pieces move. The table does not.
One action per beat
Add a piece, flip a piece, or point. A beat that adds three objects and a caption is a pile. The phone cannot sort a pile.
Colour on the hero only
Keep the subject in colour and the surrounding pieces quieter, so the eye knows what the sentence is about.
A worked example
Board stays dark wood. Beat 1: a title piece. Beat 2: six tiny price tags. Beat 3: one large tag. Beat 4: the tag on a door piece. Same shopkeeper cut-out each time.
Before you post
- The board matches in every clip.
- Each beat adds one move.
- You did not switch to whiteboard mid-reel.
Where Scro fits
Scro's paper-cutout explainer locks that craft-board look and shows you stills before motion. Approve them, then export a 9:16 reel with the opening title if text is on.
