How to Make a Product Promo Reel

A product promo Reel shows one real product, one problem, and one use, in a vertical video of about 15 to 30 seconds. It is not a catalogue. If the viewer cannot name the product and the job it does, the Reel is not finished.

Start from the real photos

Use the photos of the actual bottle, box, or label. The shape, the colour, and the words on the package should survive into the video. A prettier invented pack is a different product, and people who already bought yours will notice.

Film or generate three beats only:

1. The problem, in the first three seconds, as a title the buyer already feels.
2. The product, recognisable, entering on that problem.
3. One use. Not five features. One.

Then one ask: shop, save, or comment. A second ask splits the click.

Do not change the lid, the flavour name, or the language on the label to make the frame "cleaner". Do not show a result the product does not do. Do not cut to a lifestyle scene that hides the product for most of the Reel. The product is the subject. The room is the background.

On-screen text stays short. A claim that needs a paragraph belongs in the caption, where someone can read it slowly.
