Give AI Hands a Job or Crop Them
AI hands survive when they hold one object or leave the frame. An empty gesture is where extra fingers appear.

Give AI hands a job or crop them out. A hand holding a cup, turning a lid, or resting on a table with the fingers relaxed is a solvable picture. A hand waving at the camera, fingers spread, is where extra digits and melted nails appear. If the gesture is not the point of the frame, end the shot at the wrists.

One object, both hands
A cup, a lid, a cloth. Overlap hides joints the model draws badly. Two empty hands in mid-air give it nothing to measure against. Do not ask for a peace sign.
Count before you approve
Five fingers or a thumb hidden by the cup. Nails that belong to the finger they sit on. A sixth finger in a still becomes a sixth finger in motion, only harder to ignore.
Crop is a valid shot
Product reels often work better from the wrists down, or with no hands at all. You do not owe the viewer a gesture. A clean crop beats a fascinating mistake.
A worked example
Both hands around a plain jar, thumbs on the lid, table in daylight. Fingers counted. A waving version from the first try is not used.
Check the still
- The hands hold one object or are cropped.
- You counted the fingers.
- Nails belong to their fingers.
Where Scro fits
Scro's product demo starts from your photo of the real object, then you approve the still. If the hands are wrong, fix the still before motion. The label and the color of the pack stay the ones you sell. Export 9:16.
Show the hands only if they work. Finished samples are on the examples page.
