30-Second Explainer for One Feature

A 30-second explainer covers one feature. Name the pain, show the feature once, and leave the rest of the product for later.

30-Second Explainer for One Feature

A 30-second explainer for one feature resists the tour. Viewers can remember one thing: the pain, the feature that answers it, and how to try it. A second feature is a second reel. Thirty seconds is four beats, not a product page.

Name the feature in the title

"Crop to 9:16" is a feature. "Our editor" is a category. The title should be something support would recognise.

Show it once, clearly

One before, one after. A tour of menus spends the thirty seconds on navigation. The feature is the change on screen.

Say who it is for in the caption

The reel stays short. The caption can say "for people posting reels," so you do not spend a beat on audience.

A worked example

Title: "Trim the breath." Before: a long pause. After: the first word at frame one. Ask: "Export again." No other editor feature appears.

Before you post

  • The title names the feature.
  • A second feature is absent.
  • Before and after are both visible.

Where Scro fits

Scro storyboards that single feature and will not invent a second one if your beats do not include it. Approve the before and after stills, then export 9:16.

Explain one feature. Finished samples are on the examples page.
