Rain on the Window, Subject Dry
Rain on the window stays on the glass. The person inside stays dry unless you meant them to be outside.

Rain on the window is a background, not a soaking. Droplets and streaks belong on the glass. The person inside has dry hair and dry shoulders unless the story is that they just came in. Models like to sprinkle the whole frame, which puts weather on the face and makes an indoor talking shot look like a leak. Say where the water is allowed to be.

Name the surface
"Droplets on the window glass only, person indoors and dry." Without that, rain becomes a texture on the skin. Glass can be soft if the focus is on the face.
Light stays indoor
An overcast window is a cool source. The room can be a little warmer. The face should not be covered in specular drops. If you see beads on the cheek, the still went outside.
Do not add a storm caption in the picture
No weather icons, no fake forecast text. The rain is visual. The words, if you need them, go in the title band you left empty.
A worked example
Host at a table, window behind, streaks on the glass, hair dry, shoulders dry. A version with droplets on the forehead is rejected.
Check the still
- Water is on the glass.
- Hair and clothes inside are dry.
- No forecast text appears.
Where Scro fits
Approve the dry indoor still in Scro before the talk. Motion should not start a downpour on the face. Export 9:16 with the window still reading as weather.
Put the weather on the glass. Finished samples are on the examples page.
